Flu and Heath Update
Teasley Families - we
want to make sure you are aware of the information provided by School Health
Services that may help stop the spread of the flu. Please take time to visit
this webpage
for the tips and information they have provided. If a child has a lowgrade
fever or they are not feeling well, we ask you to please keep them at
home. Those who have the flu (with or without fever) are highly
contagious. Please know that we are all working hard at Teasley to disinfect
classrooms and sanitize door knobs, hallway and stair railings and other public
surfaces. We hope you all stay well during this flu season!!
On a side note, our class has been going strong (no absences due to illness in a week or so) and I hope to keep it that way. If your child does end up getting the Flu and you get this confirmed with a doctor, please let me know so that I can take further action to disinfect my classroom.
Thank you!

Holiday Events Update
Hello fabulous families,
Thank you to everyone who came out last night for our 5th
grade Sweet Karols. I was VERY proud of our class!
With the snow day, our schedule was thrown a bit, so I
wanted to provide a quick update:
·
Monday is the grade-level winter celebration. If
you have not had an opportunity to sign up for anything, please consider
donating YOUR TIME! We are in need of crayon shavers. One of the ornaments that
the students make requires crayon shavings. It is difficult and slightly
dangerous for the students to shave their own crayons; therefore, we have asked
for parents to volunteer to shave the crayons. We send home baggies of crayons
to be shaved, and the shavings simply need to be returned by Friday. Please sign
up if you are able! http://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050f48ada629a57-winter
·
Don’t forget to send in $5 for Monday’s lunch!
As of yesterday, I had only received $15 for our class.
Thank you to all of you for your support of our holiday
events. I know we’ve asked A LOT of you over the past month. You are SO
APPRECIATED!!!
