Hello Parent’s,

-Students need to memorize their script.
-Students only present on their assigned day.  See below.

Testing Information

For testing please keep all cell phones and smart watches at home or on off inside your child's backpack.

We hope that all of our families had a great Spring Break!!  We look forward to seeing our students on Monday!!  A reminder that the GA Milestone Assessment begins for our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders on Tuesday, April 10th.  Because we will have multiple testing sessions going in the building and will be testing the majority of the day, we ask that we not have visitors for lunch on Tuesday through Thursday, April 10 - 12 as well as Monday & Tuesday, April 16th & 17th.  Our lunch and specials schedule is different on those days and we will have testing going on all around the building.  For that reason, we ask that we not have visitors on those days. Thank you for your understanding!!

For our state testing, I want to make sure that all students receive the opportunity to have a healthy breakfast.  For this reason, I would love for some parents to help donate a few items.  Each day I will have a fun note for the kids related to the snacks.   I will provide breakfast for the students on Tuesday April 10.  We have 21 students, so we will need enough for each child to receive a snack each day.  As always, I truly appreciate all of your help in making this year, the best one yet; 5th grade rocks!

In addition to this, if you have completed the daily notes for your child (found inside the testing information envelope I sent home the Friday before break) please be sure to send them in to school tomorrow so that I can pass them out to your child when they get to school each day.

Thank you again for everything that you do!

Field Day T-Shirt Order Form
Here is the order form for Field Day T-Shirt.  These went home on Friday, but many students forgot to pick up their copy.  Our shirts this year will be tropical blue which is a nice dark teal color.  The shirts are $8.00 each.  The orders are due this Thursday, March 8, and WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED LATE.  If you are having a hard time finding funds for the shirt please let me know.  We are trying to get a shirt for every child this year.

Picture Day
Picture day is this Friday, March 9.  Students do not need to wear standard attire but are encouraged to dress nice since this is our class picture day.  If you would like to purchase pictures, please have your child bring their packet with money on Friday.  It is the child's responsibility to hand the money and form to the photographer during our picture time.  Our picture time will be at 10:58 which is before lunch and specials.

**We have begun reviewing for the milestones as well.  Please continue to practice with your child at home, and teach them testing taking strategies.  The one area all students need to focus on is writing to a text.  (Here are some samples to pull from - They say fourth grade but would work for 5th as well)
